Context
Tempo is an award-winning AI-powered home gym and fitness membership.
Challenge
Users were not taking our class recommendations, resulting in a lack of a structured training and progress.
Goal
Design class recommendations that users trust and engage with.
Solution
We re-designed recommendations to better understand what your body needs for each workout. We leverage all your fitness data, including biometrics collected by the Apple Watch or other wearables with HealthKit integrations, to get a holistic picture of your Readiness. This includes your heart rate variability (HRV), sleep quality, and other workouts you've recorded on platforms like Strava or Garmin. Based on this data, we can recommend the right class and intensity level for your workout, suggest appropriate weights, and allow for essential recovery time.
Results
We saw a huge jump in engagement, increasing the number of users taking our recommendations from 6% to 39%.
